British Power International - New connections | British Power International

New connections

As a fully accredited NERS design company we undertake detailed designs and submissions for developers on a national basis from LV to 132kV on projects for the DNO and private renewable energy companies.  BPI is typically involved at the beginning of a project, with the multi-disciplined design team capable of turning a workable concept in to a finished design, and we are always keen to work with the construction teams to ensure the most cost effective solution.

Our typical projects include solar (PV)/wind farms, other generation and industrial, commercial and residential schemes.

BPI was involved with over 45 PV and wind farm connections in one calendar year, providing connections design and management of the electricity infrastructure of all types of new connections.  We have a dedicated team responsible for the complete design of both PV and wind farms throughout the UK, and have developed the UK award winning POC-MASTTM system for 33–132kV network connections.

Why BPI

The design of any new network connection requires a team of experienced designers covering a number of electrical, plant and civil capabilities.  BPI can provide these skill sets whilst at the same time using the latest technology to work to relevant client and country standards.

BPI also recognises that renewable projects operate on short delivery programmes.  BPI has a dedicated team focusing on the delivery of renewable projects to meet exacting project timescales.
