Battery storage integration | British Power International

Battery storage integration

British Power International can provide a complete design service for energy storage integration.  We work with manufacturers as a power system integrator for renewables, and are very experienced in the design process required for energy storage.

Prior to planning and design of any energy storage project clients must identify network issues or operational constraints that require intervention, and determine if energy storage could provide an effective solution as an alternative to conventional upgrade.  (DNO to decide.)

Our services

BPI can provide design for energy storage integration which includes:

DNO Substation

  • DNO switchouse building including all civil design
  • Step up transformers (applicable based on the type of connection)
  • MV switchgear including protection
  • MV cables
  • Tariff metering
  • ANM system
  • Battery and battery charger 110V and 48V
  • LV AC distribution, heating and lighting
  • Plant earthing
